With over 33 years experience in Architecture & Architectural Design, Hameed Abid is a highly self-motivated and creative Chartered Architect, fluent in English & Arabic. His track record shows many successfully completed and published buildings in the UK & various Middle East countries. Having worked professionally in Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Sharjah, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Baghdad and the UK, he has excellent experience of international project design and administration. He has also given evidence many times as an Expert Witness.
The architect of several Palaces for the Royal Families in Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, his method of operation is to get projects executed to the required quality, on time and to budget.
Hameed has created and supervised several schools, hospitals extensions and barn conversions with award winning designs. He has also worked on Plymouth County Council projects doing grant jobs, housing layouts and types for developers, industrial and municipal projects, including warehousing.
Hameed was recognisd by "Who's Who in Architecture - 2002" the definitive biographical source on the nation's leading architects and industry figureheads.
